Gurupoornima is a day dedicated to the memory of the great sage Veda Vyasa, and is traditionally celebrated to pay respect to teachers and express our gratitude. Gurupoornima is celebrated on the full moon day in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June-July).

On Gurupoornima, we conducted “MathruPooja” at our school in which all the students actively participated with their parents. Swami Shivamrita Chaithanya inaugurated the function. This was followed by a beautiful bhajan session after which students performed “MathruPooja”. The entire programme was very serene and divine.
