Amrita Vidyalayam in Kerala’s capital city is in Kaimanam, just adjacent to the Karamana River. The serene atmosphere of the Brahmasthanam temple on the school premises is a value addition to this senior secondary school.
The school has been the venue for AIEEE for the past few years. The school is managed by Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and is affiliated to CBSE. The school also has the reputation of achieving 100% pass rate for Board exams since its inception, just like all other Amrita Vidyalayams.
The school got the “Ideal School Award” for participating in the All India Mathematics competition conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Ganith Sanshodan Sanstha.

The teaching of universal spiritual principles and human values should be a standard part of general education.
